TINO
VHERIWA

My full name is actually Tinotenda Vheriwa, however, I shorten it to Tino as a clever strategy to save time and be efficient! Also, I figured it's much easier for people to remember Tino than saying my full name without stumbling over their words.

{

I'm Tino Vheriwa, a true jack of all trades with a Master's in Global Strategic Communications, and a knack for bringing a light-hearted touch to my life and those around me. I thought it would be pretty cool to write this section like it was a 90s comedy movie so please, bear with me.

House

Picture this: I come from a bustling family of 10. Yes, you read that right! Growing

up, I learned the art of teamwork, negotiation, and sharing the last slice of

pizza. Being a part of a big family has its own unique dynamics, and let me tell you, it's never a dull moment! In my family, I hold the interesting position of being my father's middle child and my mother's first child. It gets a little confusing at times, trying to figure out my role and responsibilities in the family, but I've come to embrace the best of both worlds.

Being an older brother to three boys has been quite an adventure. I've learned that being a role model means more than just being the "big brother." It means guiding them, protecting them, and showing them the ropes of life. From helping with school projects to teaching them the art of mischief (within reason, of course), I've had the privilege of watching them grow into great individuals and witnessing the unbreakable bond that siblings share.

Being the middle child has taught me the art of diplomacy and finding my own unique voice within the family. It's like being the bridge that connects the older and younger generations, and I've learned to navigate that role with grace and a good sense of humor. So, if you ever wonder what it's like to have a family of ten, let me tell you, it's a beautiful chaos that I wouldn't trade for anything in the world. They are my greatest source of inspiration and motivation, pushing me to be the best version of myself every day.

High
School

During my high school years, I had some incredible experiences that truly shaped who I am today. One aspect of my high school journey was attending an all-boys school. It was a unique environment filled with camaraderie, friendly competition, and plenty of opportunities for growth.

One of the highlights of my time in high school was my involvement in sports. I always had a passion for staying active and pushing my physical limits. Basketball and rugby became my go-to sports, and I cherished the thrill of being on the court or field, giving my all for the team. Not only did it teach me the importance of discipline and teamwork, but it also allowed me to form lasting friendships with my teammates.

But my interests didn't stop at sports alone. I was eager to explore different facets of my personality and talents. I found myself joining the debate club, where I learned the power of persuasive arguments and the art of public speaking. It was a platform that allowed me to voice my opinions, engage in intellectual discussions, and broaden my horizons.

In addition to debate, I also discovered my passion for music. I had always been drawn to melodies and rhythms, and I found an outlet for my creativity in the school choir. Little did I know that my musical journey would take another exciting turn. During my high school years, a group of friends and I decided to start a rap group. We had a shared love for hip-hop and a desire to be the cool kids at school so we got into writing lyrics, producing beats, and eventually produced songs that resonated with our entire high school community. One in particular 'Textacash', became an anthem that spread like wildfire, with everyone having it on their phones and asking me about it to this day. Creating this music and witnessing the varied responses it evoked was an indescribable feeling. Whether it was receiving love, criticism, or even being compared to established hip-hop artists, it taught me the profound power of artistic expression. This realization ignited within me a deep-seated passion to connect with people, both directly and indirectly, and to observe their reactions. I am driven to enhance their experiences and interactions, making them more enjoyable and meaningful. It's this desire to impact others through my work that continues to fuel my passion to this day.

Looking back, my high school years were a whirlwind of diverse experiences. From sports to debates, music to leadership, each endeavor shaped my character and taught me invaluable life lessons. It was a time of self-discovery, growth, and building connections that continue to shape my journey today. Because of this believe that high school plays a great role in who we become and how we see the world when we become adults.

Hey,

Creativity!

My journey into the creative and marketing realm initially started because as a kid I loved movies and video games and as I grew older it started to grow into marketing because I slowly became aware of where the food in the house was coming from, and what was paying all our school fees. My father founded a furniture store 28 years ago and it has since grown into one of the biggest manufacturing and retail companies in Southern Africa. Watching him work and expand the business always fascinated me, but the thing that fascinated me the most was why people felt like they needed to buy from MY dad and not the guy next door. I love my dad, he's pretty charismatic too, but he isn't exactly a car salesman. More of a hard-working, disciplined man. It was there that I discovered my passion for marketing and realized the power of combining business savvy with quality and user-centricity.

I came to America in 2016 with just my mom on my side and a suitcase, unlike the entourage Eddie Murphy had in 'Coming to America'. I did however still have with me a rich cultural tapestry and a zest for embracing new experiences. No better place to find that diversity and richness than Miami. Years later in have gotten my bachelor's in communication, and worked as a marketing Specialist at a Clinical Trials Company(very eye-opening experience). At this very moment, I am a couple of semesters away from attaining my master's and hope that is the last time I am in school, but definitely not where I plan on stopping to learn.

I like to balance my creative genius with a healthy dose of physical activity. You can find me on the basketball court, at the gym, or at social rugby on Sundays! But it's not just sports and sweat that keep me going. I'm also a passionate advocate for giving back. I have the pleasure of being on the Junior Board for the Center for Total Transformation in Zimbabwe, which caters to underprivileged and vulnerable children of the Norton area in Harare. Providing them with education, food, and shelter where needed. Making a positive impact in the world is my jam, and I love every moment of it!

So to sum everything up:

I'm like a Swiss Army knife of creative skills. From video editing to photography, music production to logo design, apparel creation to brand management, campaign development, data analysis, UX design to web design, and even social media management, I've got the tools and expertise to make your vision come to life and make a difference. If it involves pixels, colors, or captivating visuals, you can count on me to weave some magic.

So, if you're ready to embark on an exciting creative adventure, let's team up! Whether you need a mind-blowing video, a captivating logo, a website that screams "Wow!" or a social media presence that leaves your competition green with envy, I've got your back. Together, we'll turn your vision into a reality and have a few laughs along the way.

Reach out to me, and let's make some creative magic happen!

Warm regards, Tino Vheriwa
